Settling into our new home town

Hello, all y'all! Gotta love Texas. What's new with us? Our house is new, and has finally started being built. For the last two months it has simply been a foundation, but a week ago framing started and it already looks like it will become the real thing sometime mid-late October.

Jonathan began work on the 12th and has been enjoying it so far, though mainly it has been a lot of orientation. He will return tonight from a week-long training at the Southern region headquarters in Atlanta. We don't yet know if he will be "in town" or "out of town," but we should find out soon. "Out of town" means that every week for about 3 months he will fly out on Monday and fly back Thursday night. That's the job. We'll miss him, but hey, cereal for dinner, yeah!

David and Spencer are adjusting to their new environment. They especially love the large tub that they get to take a bath in almost every day here at Grandmother and Grandpa (Stones) house. David is doing a great job in his role as big brother (aka Enforcer) in taking care of Spencer. He is often seen dragging Spencer by his heels away from some danger (or toy that he doesn't want Spencer to play with). Spencer is a very amiable fellow and most of the time he simply waits for David to let him go. Spencer has learned to crawl up stairs and pulls himself to standing. He will probably be walking in the next month or so. He is ADORABLE!

I have been spending my time full of worldly thoughts about furniture and paint and organizational systems. Beyond daydreaming, I have been occasionally taking care of my adorable boys. I am currently trying to focus on choosing a hobby, or a few hobbies, to focus my time while Jonathan is away--besides cleaning and laundry. On Wednesday, I got my hair chopped off, but I need Jonathan to get home from Atlanta to take a picture, so you'll just have to check our website in a few days if you're curious, I'm sure that he is curious, too!

Well, I spent the last couple of days creating 12 new web albums of photos dating back to the beginning of April, so to see recent pictures of us, click here: http://picasaweb.google.com/jrstonehenge
